At Canyon Therapy, your outcome depends on who's in the room with you. That's why we've built a team of specialists — physical therapists, occupational therapists, certified hand therapists, and more — who bring both deep expertise and a genuine commitment to the people of Cody and the Big Horn Basin.
Every therapist on our team works with you directly from your first visit to your last. You'll know your therapist by name, and they'll know your goals. That's how we've done it for 15 years, and it's not changing.

Allison specializes in upper extremity care — treating the shoulder, hand, and everything in between. Her guiding principle as a therapist is straightforward: get patients back to doing what they want to do as quickly, safely, and comfortably as possible. It's an approach she has refined over more than three decades of practice.
Allison earned her degree from the University of North Dakota and founded Canyon Therapy in 2011. She holds the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential, one of the most rigorous specialty certifications in rehabilitation.
Wyoming raised and Cody rooted since 2001, Allison is a proud grandmother who loves fishing, reading, and taking long rides down dirt roads with her husband.

Michaela most commonly treats conservative and post-operative shoulder conditions, while also frequently managing hand, wrist, and elbow injuries. Her approach starts with one question: what does this patient actually want to get back to? From there, she builds individualized treatment plans around the functional outcomes that matter most.
Michaela earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University and joined Canyon Therapy in 2018. She holds a kinesiology tape certification and is actively pursuing her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
Originally from a farm in eastern Nebraska, Michaela has made Cody her home and her community. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, singing at church, and learning to fly fish.

Beau is the mechanic of Canyon Therapy — the go-to problem solver with 26 years of clinical experience helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. His warm, unhurried presence is just as much a part of the experience as his clinical skill; it's not unusual to find him in the waiting room, coffee in hand, sharing a laugh and lending a listening ear to patients and families alike.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant and clinic owner, Beau has spent over two and a half decades building the foundation this clinic stands on.
These days Beau is easing toward a well-earned retirement — but his dedication to this community has a way of pulling him back into the treatment room whenever he's needed.

Kyle brings over two decades of healthcare and social services experience to his role at Canyon Therapy, where he oversees insurance contracts, billing, patient coordination, and just about anything else that needs handling. Known around the clinic as the "junk drawer," he's the person everyone turns to when something needs to get done — and it always does.
Kyle earned his degree in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University and spent 17 years supporting geriatric patients and families in long-term care and hospital settings, before joining UnitedHealthcare as a sales and program implementation manager focused on reducing nursing home hospitalizations.
